With October being Italian-American Heritage and Culture Month, Jewel-Osco wanted to connect to the Italian community and showcase their wide selection of Italian brands

Solution

To celebrate the Italian community, we created our “Festa Italiana” program at Jewel-Osco. This included in-store sampling, live music, giveaways and live cooking demonstrations by professional chefs

Results

During the month of October, participating items experienced a 30% lift in sales vs the prior month in all stores – and a remarkable 70% lift in sales vs the prior month in the four participating stores, due to all the display, shipper and sampling support!
